Small-Group Coaching to Deal with Coronavirus Challenges

By Dave Fox

I’ve been talking with lots of people – my life-coaching clients, as well as friends and family – who are struggling with a variety of emotions related to the coronavirus pandemic – anxiety, fear, confusion, hypochondria, anger, boredom, “cabin fever,” and “news addiction,” to name a few.

Other people are struggling to focus and get things done. At a moment in history when they’re stuck at home, they want to be productive, and maybe even take on some of the projects they’ve been thinking about for years but haven’t had time for … yet they are having trouble concentrating on the things that are important to them right now.

At a time when the global economy is making it difficult for many people to afford one-on-one coaching, I’m opening up some low-cost, small-group coaching sessions within the next week or two for people to talk about their concerns and seek solutions to the emotional and mental challenges they are facing in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

These groups will consist of five to eight people. We’ll meet once a week on Zoom. Each session will be 90 minutes long, and everyone in the group will have time to share their concerns for the week.

The cost for a series of five 90-minute sessions will be US $99 – less than $14 per hour.

In addition to the financial savings that come with group versus one-on-one coaching, sharing experiences and advice with a small group of people at this time also comes with emotional benefits. Each of us is experiencing this moment in a slightly different way, but when we come together as a small group, we reinforce the truth that we are not going through this alone.

I’ll have more information here soon about dates and times. In the meantime, if you would like more information, please send me a short e-mail at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your age
  • Your location
  • The times of day / days of week that would be most convenient for you to meet. (You can give me the times in your own time zone. I’ll do the math at my end.)
  • A short description of the specific challenges or concerns you are facing in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, please let me know if you have any questions.

All information you send me will be kept strictly confidential. I’ll get back to you with more information shortly … and you are under no obligation to sign up if you send me this information.

If you are interested in one-on-one coaching to deal with these same issues, or you’d like to learn more about my qualifications and coaching philosophies, you’ll find all the details on my Life-Coaching page

On April 9, I hosted a free webinar entitled, “Coping with Coronavirus Chaos,” to talk about the anxiety and productivity challenges people are facing right now, If you missed the live stream, you can watch the replay here
