One-Take Wednesday: Cats from Space and How to Be Funny

sputnik2Welcome to the second episode in my new weekly series of unscripted video rants. This week, I address an important question from esteemed reader Joan Kerr, who wants to know why space critters invade my apartment but never visit her home.

This three-minute video also includes an important safety announcement for cat owners, and a bone-jarring tip on how to be a funnier person.

And hey … this Friday, it’s National Day in Singapore. If you need something else to help you squander time when the boss isn’t looking, check out my article about last year’s controversial video: “Sex and Candy! (Happy National Night Singapore!)”

Do you have stories or questions about space critters, feline dangers, sex, candy, Sven Wondermoose, or that weird thing on your elbow? Share your thoughts in the “Leave a Reply” field below, or drop me an e-mail. You might get your question answered in a future episode or see your story on

Hahahahaha! Thanks, Dave! As I watched your video, my cat was banging on my office door and sticking her paws under the door because she was mad that I was awake and doing something OTHER than feeding her. Great start to my day…I think I feel an article coming on! :-)

That is one of the ways she is attempting to exert mind control on you, Joan. You must be strong.
